VIVOTEK Strengthens AI Innovation With Network Optix Platform Integration

TAIPEI — Global security solutions provider VIVOTEK has announced the integration of its Deep Search Plugin into the Network Optix (Nx) platform, marking a significant step in advancing open Video Management System (VMS) ecosystems and Edge AI technology.

The integration allows VIVOTEK’s AI-enabled cameras to deliver advanced video search capabilities directly within the Nx interface, enabling users to conduct investigations and monitor events without altering their existing operational workflows.

The partnership between VIVOTEK and Network Optix aims to enhance the efficiency of video analytics while strengthening surveillance capabilities across various security environments.

Through the Deep Search Plugin, users gain access to several intelligent search features designed to simplify the process of monitoring and investigating security incidents.

One of the key functions is Scene Search, which allows users to draw Smart VCA rules such as intrusion detection, line crossing and loitering directly onto recorded video to identify events even if those rules were not originally configured for alerts.

The platform also includes an Attribute Search feature that enables detailed filtering based on specific characteristics such as person or vehicle type, clothing colour and accessories.

Another feature expected to be introduced in a future update is Re-Search, which will allow users to track the same individual across multiple camera feeds by selecting facial or body vectors from initial search results.

VIVOTEK Vice President of the OBM Business Group Shengfu Cheng said embedding Edge AI capabilities directly into the Nx platform helps organisations accelerate investigations and improve situational awareness.

He noted that the technology also allows customers to maximise the value of their existing security infrastructure while improving operational efficiency.

According to Cheng, the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence in security operations requires systems that are both interoperable and scalable.

The integration reflects VIVOTEK’s commitment to developing proactive security solutions supported by data-driven intelligence.

Meanwhile, Network Optix Vice President of Business Development and Marketing James Cox said the integration demonstrates the benefits of an open platform that provides customers with greater flexibility in applying Edge AI technology.

He explained that the plugin allows organisations to quickly integrate VIVOTEK’s search capabilities into their systems while maintaining the workflows they already depend on.

The Deep Search Plugin is now officially listed on the Nx Marketplace, allowing seamless integration for system integrators and enterprise customers.

The solution will also be showcased at the ISC West international security exhibition later this year.

Looking ahead, VIVOTEK plans to continue expanding its integration ecosystem to help organisations of all sizes adopt scalable AI-driven security solutions across diverse operational scenarios.
