Halfpricesoft Enhances QuickBooks Check Printing Solution for Nonprofits with Integrated Virtual Printer

REDMOND, Wash.: Financial software provider Halfpricesoft.com has expanded compatibility for nonprofit organisations using QuickBooks by enhancing integration between its ezCheckPrinting software and Virtual Printer solution, offering a more cost-effective approach to cheque printing and financial administration.

The company said the updated solution is designed to help nonprofit organisations reduce administrative costs while simplifying cheque management, allowing more resources to be directed towards programme delivery and community services.

The software combination enables users to print an unlimited number of customised cheques directly from QuickBooks onto blank cheque stock, eliminating the need for more expensive pre-printed cheques traditionally used by many organisations.

According to Halfpricesoft, the Virtual Printer functions as an intermediary between QuickBooks and ezCheckPrinting, allowing users to print directly from QuickBooks while securely transferring payment information into the cheque printing software without requiring manual data entry.

The integration is intended to streamline accounting workflows and minimise the risk of errors associated with duplicate data input.

The company said the solution is particularly suitable for nonprofit organisations that manage multiple programmes, grants or funding sources, as users can print cheques for different bank accounts using the same supply of blank cheque stock without changing paper or printer configurations.

Halfpricesoft founder Dr. Ge said the software allows nonprofits to replace costly pre-printed cheques with a more flexible and economical alternative while improving operational efficiency.

He added that the system supports organisations managing multiple grants or bank accounts by consolidating cheque printing onto a single stack of secure blank cheque stock, reducing both printing costs and administrative complexity.

Beyond cost savings, the software also offers customisation features designed to support nonprofit compliance requirements.

Users can configure cheques with organisation logos, dual-signature lines and fund-tracking codes, enabling finance teams to meet internal governance standards and donor reporting obligations.

Halfpricesoft said the enhanced compatibility reflects increasing demand among nonprofit organisations for digital financial tools that simplify accounting processes while maintaining strong financial controls.

The company is offering a free trial version of ezCheckPrinting and the accompanying Virtual Printer, allowing organisations to evaluate the software before making a purchasing decision.

Following the trial period, the QuickBooks-compatible version of ezCheckPrinting with the Virtual Printer is available for a one-time licence fee of US$149 for a single installation, with discounted pricing also available for network deployments.

Halfpricesoft said the software is intended to provide nonprofit finance teams with a practical and affordable cheque printing solution that improves workflow efficiency while helping organisations maximise the impact of donor funding.
