Smartee Highlights Advanced Orthodontic Innovations at EAS 2026, Expands Strategic Footprint in Europe

BRUSSELS, May 5 — Smartee Denti-Technology reinforced its growing influence in the global orthodontics industry by showcasing new clinical innovations and outlining its European expansion strategy at the 7th Congress of the European Aligner Society (EAS).

Held from April 16 to 18 at the SQUARE – Brussels Convention Centre, the event brought together more than 1,000 dental professionals from 65 countries, highlighting its role as a key platform for advancing aligner-based orthodontic treatment.

Under the theme “Aligner Next Generation”, the congress focused on the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, 3D printing, and patient-specific biomechanical strategies into modern orthodontic care.

New Approaches to Complex Jaw Cases

One of the key highlights of Smartee’s participation was its focus on mandibular advancement solutions designed to address complex skeletal discrepancies.

Dr. Te Wang presented the S8-SGTB aligner system, which incorporates Mandibular Advancement Repositioning Technology (MART) to manage severe Class II cases more effectively.

Meanwhile, Dr. Vélez Lagunes emphasised the importance of early intervention in younger patients. By guiding facial growth during developmental stages, she noted, clinicians can reduce the need for invasive treatments later in life.

Dr. Thomas Felkai further demonstrated practical applications through clinical case studies, showcasing how devices such as the S11 arch expander can be integrated into treatment protocols.

Attendees responded with strong engagement, raising technical questions and showing interest in adopting these solutions in their own practices.

Europe as a Key Growth Market

Alongside its clinical advancements, Smartee highlighted its strategic focus on expanding its presence in Europe, one of the fastest-growing markets for clear aligners.

The company established a manufacturing hub in Madrid in 2024, enabling localized production and faster distribution across the region.

This expansion was followed by the launch of a European Orthodontic Clinical Support Center in Stoke-on-Trent, UK, in 2025. The facility provides services including treatment planning, case analysis, and technical support aligned with regional standards.

Smartee is also working closely with local experts and educators to develop tailored training programs, ensuring that its technologies are effectively integrated into clinical practice.

This dual focus on innovation and localization reflects the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its global footprint while delivering solutions that meet the specific needs of regional markets.
