PAS reaffirms commitment to strengthen Perikatan Nasional through inclusive and unified leadership
KUALA TERENGGANU: PAS has reiterated its commitment to strengthening Perikatan Nasional (PN) through a collective and inclusive approach following the appointment of its representative as the coalition’s chairman.
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang said the party will continue working to reinforce the coalition based on principles of moderation, fairness and unity.
Ahmad Samsuri’s appointment reflects coalition consensus
He described the appointment of Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar as PN chairman as a reflection of the confidence and agreement among all component parties.
He said the decision demonstrated strong cooperation within the coalition.
PAS will continue contributing to strengthening the coalition’s structure and direction.
Acknowledges Muhyiddin’s leadership role
Abdul Hadi also expressed appreciation to Muhyiddin Yassin for his leadership and contributions.
He said Muhyiddin played a crucial role in establishing the coalition’s foundation.

The appointment was finalised during a special leadership meeting.
