Midea Building Technologies Unveils “Smart in One” Integrated Solutions at AHR Expo 2026 in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, United States — Global smart building solutions provider Midea Building Technologies has strengthened its position in the international HVAC and energy management market by presenting its latest integrated technologies under the theme “Smart in One” at AHR Expo 2026 in Las Vegas.

The company’s participation at one of the world’s largest HVAC and building technology exhibitions highlights its commitment to delivering intelligent, energy-efficient, and future-ready infrastructure solutions. This year’s showcase focuses on addressing the evolving needs of critical sectors, including data centers, industrial parks, logistics hubs, airports, and large commercial developments.

At the heart of Midea’s exhibition is a comprehensive portfolio that combines advanced cooling systems, sustainable heating technologies, and digital management platforms into a unified ecosystem. The “Smart in One” concept reflects the company’s vision of providing seamless integration between equipment, data, and operational intelligence.

One of the flagship products on display is the MagBoost Apex Pro magnetic bearing centrifugal chiller, which represents a major leap in high-efficiency cooling technology. Powered by Midea’s second-generation oil-free magnetic bearing system, the unit minimizes mechanical friction, reduces wear and tear, and significantly improves operational stability.

The chiller delivers an Integrated Part Load Value (IPLV) of up to 9.71 when using environmentally friendly R1234ze(E) refrigerant, supporting global carbon reduction targets. Designed for long-term performance, the compressor offers a service life of up to 30 years, is protected by IP67-rated sealing, and operates at a low noise level of approximately 70 dB(A).

Its modular design allows up to 16 units to be connected without additional control systems, enabling flexible expansion for large-scale commercial and industrial projects. The system also supports both R1234ze(E) and R513A refrigerants, enhancing its adaptability to different regulatory and environmental requirements.

Responding to the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digital services, Midea is also highlighting its advanced thermal management solutions for data centers. As high-density servers generate increasing heat loads, stable and energy-efficient cooling has become a strategic priority.

Midea’s full-stack data center solution integrates precision cooling distribution units (CDUs), high-performance fan walls, and optimized chillers to achieve Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) levels as low as 1.2. These systems are reinforced by multi-layer redundancy and leak-proof technologies, ensuring uninterrupted 24-hour operation and minimizing the risk of downtime.

Digital intelligence forms another key pillar of the “Smart in One” strategy. The company’s proprietary iBUILDING platform enables centralized management of HVAC, energy, and environmental systems through a single smart gateway. Supporting multiple communication protocols, including BACnet and Modbus, the platform ensures smooth integration with existing Building Management Systems.

Two core applications enhance operational efficiency. iEasyComfort provides real-time visibility into system performance and energy consumption, helping building owners optimize operations. Meanwhile, iEasyCare focuses on predictive maintenance, enabling early fault detection, remote diagnostics, and performance analysis to reduce maintenance costs and improve reliability.

According to Midea representatives, the company’s presence at AHR Expo goes beyond product demonstration. It reflects a strategic shift toward offering holistic, lifecycle-based solutions that address challenges such as rising energy intensity, system complexity, and operational resilience.

By integrating hardware innovation, digital platforms, and intelligent analytics, Midea aims to support the global building industry in transitioning toward more sustainable, efficient, and intelligent infrastructure.

Through its “Smart in One” showcase at AHR Expo 2026, Midea Building Technologies positions itself as a long-term partner for developers, operators, and governments seeking to future-proof their buildings in an increasingly digital and low-carbon era.
