Hoymiles Unveils HiOne to Transform Residential Energy Storage and Smart Home Power Management
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands: Global smart energy company Hoymiles Electronics Inc. has taken a major step forward in residential energy innovation with the launch of its first all-in-one Battery Energy Storage System, HiOne.
Introduced on February 5 at a dedicated industry event, the system was unveiled in front of solar professionals, technology journalists, and strategic partners. The launch was accompanied by distribution agreements with leading European partners, signalling strong confidence in the product’s market potential.
An Integrated and Space-Efficient Energy Solution
HiOne combines an inverter, battery system, and energy management software into a single compact unit. This integrated approach reduces installation complexity while minimizing space requirements.
Compared to traditional setups, the system cuts site space by up to 20 percent and wall usage by 50 percent. Its furniture-grade design enables seamless integration into modern residential interiors.
Equipped with zero-millisecond backup switching, HiOne ensures uninterrupted electricity supply during grid failures, allowing critical appliances and high-load devices to operate continuously.
Smart Control and AI-Driven Optimization
The system is connected to the S-Miles Cloud platform, giving homeowners real-time access to energy production, storage, and consumption data. This transparency empowers users to make informed decisions about their energy usage.
HiOne’s AI-powered Time-of-Use optimization automatically adjusts charging patterns based on electricity pricing and household demand. This feature significantly improves cost efficiency and supports smarter energy management.
With a peak efficiency of 98.5 percent and support for four MPPT channels, the system maximizes solar energy harvesting across diverse roof configurations.
Built for Safety, Reliability, and Scalability
HiOne utilizes high-capacity battery cells with advanced cell-level monitoring to enhance safety and operational stability. This monitoring system detects anomalies early, reducing the risk of performance degradation.
Designed for longevity, the system supports more than 8,000 charge cycles. Its built-in DC-DC technology enables flexible expansion, allowing users to mix new and existing batteries with total capacities ranging from 8 to 64 kWh.
This scalability ensures that the system can adapt to evolving household energy needs over time.
Strong Industry Endorsement and Certification
The launch received strong backing from key industry stakeholders. Representatives from SolarPower Europe emphasized the importance of intelligent storage systems in accelerating Europe’s energy transition.
Meanwhile, TÜV Rheinland certified that HiOne complies with Europe’s most stringent safety and performance standards.
Strategic cooperation with VDH SOLAR further reinforces market confidence in the system’s quality and reliability.
Empowering Households Through Energy Independence
The introduction of HiOne reflects Hoymiles’ long-term vision of enabling decentralized, intelligent, and sustainable energy ecosystems. By integrating storage, monitoring, and automation, the system allows households to manage power independently and efficiently.
As residential solar adoption continues to grow, HiOne is positioned to become a key enabler of resilient and self-sufficient home energy systems, supporting both economic savings and environmental sustainability.
