EVE Energy Secures More Than 67GWh in New Deals, Strengthening Global Energy Storage Leadership

SHANGHAI: EVE Energy reinforced its position in the global energy storage industry after securing strategic agreements exceeding 67 gigawatt-hours (GWh) during the SNEC PV Photovoltaic Power Conference and Exhibition 2026 in Shanghai.

The achievement marked one of the company’s most significant milestones in recent years and underscored growing confidence in its energy storage technologies, manufacturing capabilities and large-scale project delivery performance.

Throughout the three-day event, EVE Energy showcased its comprehensive portfolio of energy storage solutions, including the widely highlighted Mr. Big Family series and its latest 6.9+MWh battery energy storage system.

Industry participants viewed the strong order volume as a reflection of increasing global demand for reliable energy storage technologies capable of supporting the rapid expansion of renewable energy generation.

As governments and businesses continue investing in solar and wind power, energy storage systems are becoming a critical component in maintaining grid stability and improving energy efficiency.

One of the centrepieces of EVE Energy’s exhibition was its 6.9+MWh storage system, developed using the company’s mature large-format battery technology platform.

The system was designed to deliver high energy density, long operating life and enhanced safety while maintaining cost competitiveness for utility-scale projects.

Housed within a standard 20-foot container, the solution integrates high-capacity battery cells and advanced cell-to-pack architecture to maximise space utilisation and increase overall storage capacity.

According to the company, the design helps lower upfront capital expenditure while providing improved operational efficiency throughout the system’s lifecycle.

The platform also incorporates advanced thermal management and intelligent balancing technologies that maintain stable operating temperatures and support more than 10,000 charge-discharge cycles.

Safety remains a major focus of the system, with multiple layers of protection and intelligent fire suppression mechanisms integrated into the design to enhance operational reliability.

Behind the product’s technical capabilities lies a manufacturing infrastructure that has enabled EVE Energy to scale production rapidly in response to growing market demand.

The company reported that it has already produced more than 3.7 million large-format battery cells for energy storage applications and achieved consistent gigawatt-hour-level deliveries across international markets.

During SNEC 2026, EVE Energy signed strategic agreements with several industry partners, including Shanghai Electric Power Electronics, Jiangsu Vertrans Energy Technology, Zhejiang Savant Digital Energy Technology, Tianjin RY Energy and Brazilian energy solutions provider Genesis Energia e Tecnologia.

Combined, these agreements represent more than 67GWh of contracted capacity, highlighting strong customer confidence in the company’s products and long-term development strategy.

Senior executives from EVE Energy also held extensive discussions with industry leaders and supply-chain partners throughout the exhibition.

Topics included large-format battery innovation, next-generation storage applications, global manufacturing coordination and ecosystem collaboration aimed at accelerating industry growth.

As global demand for renewable energy and grid-scale storage continues to expand, EVE Energy stated that it will remain focused on advancing battery technologies and strengthening production capabilities.

The company believes that sustained investment in research and development, combined with large-scale manufacturing expertise and a long-term strategic vision, will enable it to play a leading role in supporting the worldwide transition toward cleaner, greener and lower-carbon energy systems.

With billions of dollars being invested globally in energy infrastructure, the latest agreements secured at SNEC 2026 further position EVE Energy as a key participant in shaping the future of large-scale energy storage and sustainable power generation.
