Dominant Jojo Performance in Bangkok, Adam Secures RM43,600 Bonus

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian muay thai star Muhammad Johan Ghazali Zulfikar once again raised the nation’s profile after delivering a dominant win over Myanmar fighter Ye Yint Naung at ONE Friday Fights 141 held at Stadium Lumpinee.

Competing in the flyweight division, Johan, better known as Jojo, produced a disciplined and composed display before claiming a unanimous decision victory after three intense rounds.

He controlled the pace effectively, executed well-timed attacks, and maintained strong defensive structure throughout the contest.

“Alhamdulillah, I’m improving with every fight. Thank you to everyone who supports me,” he said after the bout.

The victory strengthened Jojo’s momentum following his earlier win over Morocco’s Zakaria El Jamari last September.

He added that he would take a short break during Ramadan before returning to competition.

Meanwhile, fellow Malaysian fighter Adam Rakib also grabbed headlines after knocking out Morocco’s Walid Snoussi in the second round.

The victory earned Adam his first performance bonus of 350,000 baht (RM43,600) and marked his second straight win.

He had previously defeated Japan’s Toma Kuroda by unanimous decision.

Fighting in the strawweight division, Adam adopted an aggressive approach from the opening bell, unleashing relentless attacks that eventually overwhelmed his opponent.
