Kuala Lumpur to Host Persona 5 Big Band Concert, Blending Gaming and Live Jazz
KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 — Kuala Lumpur is set to host a unique entertainment event as the music of Persona 5 takes centre stage in a live big band concert this June.
Part of the Persona 5 Special Big Band Concert Asia Tour 2026, the event promises to appeal to both gaming enthusiasts and jazz lovers by bringing a fresh live interpretation of the game’s acclaimed soundtrack.
Featuring around 30 professional musicians from the United States and Japan, the concert will present the music entirely live, offering a dynamic alternative to the original in-game recordings.
The big band format will highlight the distinctive fusion of jazz, funk, and pop elements that define the Persona 5 soundtrack, delivering a rich and engaging listening experience.
The performance will be led by Charlie Rosen, whose expertise in arranging contemporary music for large ensembles has earned him widespread recognition.
Adding to the authenticity of the event, Lyn Inaizumi, the original singer behind several of the game’s most popular tracks, will perform live vocals.
The ensemble will include jazz musicians from New York as well as top Japanese performers selected by Eric Miyashiro, creating a diverse international lineup.
Organisers say the concert aims to deliver a new form of entertainment by merging digital music with live performance, reflecting a growing global trend of bringing video game soundtracks to concert stages.
The event is scheduled for June 18, 2026, at 8pm at Mega Star Arena.
Tickets are available via SISTIC, with early bird promotions running until the end of April.
Developed by Atlus, Persona 5 has gained international acclaim for its distinctive style, gameplay, and especially its music.
The soundtrack, known for its modern jazz influence, has become a defining feature of the game’s identity and a major factor in its global popularity.
With this upcoming concert, audiences in Kuala Lumpur will have the opportunity to experience the music in a new and immersive format, further cementing the city’s status as a hub for international live entertainment.
