
LiSA Set for First-Ever Malaysia Solo Show This June, Tickets Drop April 7
KUALA LUMPUR — Japanese pop-rock icon LiSA is bringing her long-awaited solo concert to Malaysia for the very first time, with a performance scheduled on June 7 that is already generating major excitement among fans.
The show will be held at Mega Star Arena as part of her LiVE is Smile Always~15~ Asia Tour, celebrating her 15th anniversary in the music industry.
Known globally for her powerful anime theme songs, LiSA has built a massive fanbase in Malaysia, where her music has become synonymous with some of the biggest anime titles.
Fan-favourite tracks such as Gurenge, Homura, Crossing Field, and ADAMAS have cemented her reputation as one of the most influential voices in anime music.
Sharing her excitement, LiSA posted a message to Malaysian fans on X, expressing how thrilled she is to finally meet them through her first solo performance in the country.
Her career began as the lead vocalist of an indie band before she moved to Tokyo in 2008 to pursue solo success. She officially debuted in 2011 with Letters to U and has since remained a dominant figure in Japan’s music scene.
Over the years, she has achieved multiple Oricon chart successes, with several singles earning platinum and gold certifications.
Her accolades include the Newtype Anime Award, Japan Gold Disc Award, and JASRAC Award, further solidifying her status as a top-tier artist in the anime music genre.
In 2022, LiSA made history as the first Japanese solo artist to have a documentary featured on Netflix, titled LiSA: Another Great Day.
Her Asia tour will also make stops in Taipei, Hong Kong, and Seoul, reflecting her widespread popularity across the region.
The Kuala Lumpur concert is organised by SOZO, promising a high-energy show and a strong connection between artist and audience.
Tickets will go on sale April 7 at 2pm (GMT+8), with prices ranging from RM488 to RM648.
With anticipation building rapidly, the concert is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about live music events of the year for anime and J-pop fans in Malaysia.
