
Roborock Named World’s No.1 Smart Cleaning Robot Brand by IDC
BEIJING — Roborock has been recognised as the world’s number one smart cleaning robot brand for 2025, according to the IDC Worldwide Quarterly Smart Vacuum Robotics Tracker 2025 report.
The recognition highlights the company’s strong technological leadership and rapid global expansion at a time when the smart home robotics industry is entering a new phase characterised by broader product portfolios and increasing integration of artificial intelligence.
According to IDC’s analysis, Roborock ranked first globally in both shipment volume and market share among smart home cleaning robot manufacturers.
The company recorded total shipments of 5.8 million units in 2025, capturing a global market share of 17.7 per cent.
This ranking includes multiple categories of robotic cleaning devices such as robotic vacuum cleaners, robotic lawn mowers and other automated home cleaning solutions.
Within the robotic vacuum cleaner segment, Roborock has consistently maintained the top position in IDC’s rankings since the second half of 2023.
The company further strengthened its leadership in the second half of 2025, achieving a record market share of 27.0 per cent.
This performance secured Roborock the number one position in the robotic vacuum cleaner category for the third consecutive year.
IDC’s report also highlighted the rapidly evolving competitive landscape in the global smart cleaning robotics industry.
The shift is being driven by rapid product innovation, advances in artificial intelligence and the growing influence of Chinese technology brands expanding aggressively into overseas markets.
Amid this increasingly competitive environment, Roborock managed to secure the top global position not only in robotic vacuum cleaners but also across the broader smart home cleaning robot category.
IDC also reported that Roborock ranked number one in several major national markets, including the United States, Germany and South Korea.
These achievements underline the strength of Roborock’s global brand presence as well as the competitiveness of its products across different regions, household environments and cleaning needs.
According to IDC, Roborock’s success has been supported by its technological advantages, strong international expansion strategy and a continuously expanding portfolio of innovative products.
