
13-Year-Old Girl Found Dead in Sungai Buloh, Police Record Statements from Three Individuals
KUALA LUMPUR — Authorities are investigating the death of a 13-year-old girl who was found unresponsive at a residence in Sungai Buloh.
Sungai Buloh district police chief Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said police received a report at approximately 6.27pm regarding the victim’s condition.
Medical personnel from Hospital Sungai Buloh later confirmed that the teenager had died at the scene.
Post-Mortem to Determine Cause of Death
The body has been transferred to the hospital’s forensic department for a post-mortem examination to establish the cause of death.
Police have so far recorded statements from three individuals as part of the ongoing investigation.
Case Probed Under Child Protection Laws
Authorities have opened an investigation under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001, which relates to offences involving abuse, neglect or exposure of a child to potential harm.
Police said all angles are being examined to ensure a thorough investigation.
Public Urged to Assist Investigation
Members of the public with relevant information are urged to come forward to assist in the investigation by contacting the nearest police station or the investigating officer.
