SuperAI 2026 Draws Global AI Elite as Singapore Strengthens Its Innovation Hub Status
SINGAPORE: SuperAI 2026 has achieved a major milestone after selling out completely, attracting more than 10,000 attendees and reinforcing Singapore’s growing influence as one of the world’s most important centres for artificial intelligence innovation.
Held at Marina Bay Sands, the conference brought together over 1,500 companies and participants from more than 150 countries, making it the largest AI-focused gathering ever held in Asia.
Organisers said the event reflects the transformation of artificial intelligence into a truly global industry, with participation from leading organisations across North America, Europe, China and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
As geopolitical competition continues to reshape the technology landscape, Singapore has emerged as a strategic meeting point where stakeholders from different markets can engage, collaborate and explore new opportunities.
The conference featured more than 150 speakers representing various segments of the AI ecosystem, including model developers, cloud providers, infrastructure specialists, robotics innovators, investors and startup founders.
Notable speakers included Balaji Srinivasan, Max Tegmark and Benedict Evans, alongside senior representatives from global AI leaders such as OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Cerebras Systems and Mistral AI.
Sessions explored the growing role of AI in sectors ranging from enterprise productivity and cloud infrastructure to robotics, healthcare, finance and scientific research.
One of the event’s key attractions was the NEXT Hackathon, where 200 developers competed in a 36-hour challenge to create innovative AI applications while vying for prizes exceeding US$200,000.
The Genesis Startup Competition also provided emerging companies with access to funding opportunities worth up to US$2.3 million, helping connect entrepreneurs with investors and technology partners.
For the first time in its history, SuperAI occupied three exhibition levels, hosting more than 150 exhibitors showcasing advancements in AI infrastructure, cloud computing, robotics and deep-tech innovation.
Industry leaders including Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Arm and Snowflake were among the major participants presenting their latest technologies and solutions.
Organisers said the overwhelming response demonstrates the increasing importance of AI as a transformative force across industries and economies worldwide.
The conference forms the centrepiece of Singapore AI Week, a broader ecosystem of more than 100 AI-related events that include investor forums, startup showcases, workshops and networking sessions.
Following this year’s record-breaking edition, SuperAI is expected to further expand its global influence when it returns to Singapore in September 2027.
