KTMB Offers 30% Discount on ETS and ERT Tickets with Madani30 Promo Until April 30
KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 — Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is encouraging the public to take advantage of a 30 per cent discount on Electric Train Service (ETS) and Ekspres Rakyat Timuran (ERT) tickets, available until April 30.
The promotion can be redeemed using the “Madani30” code via the KITS Style mobile app, ticket kiosks and KTMB’s official website.
Discount Covers Key Routes and Extended Travel Period
KTMB said the offer applies across all ETS routes, as well as ERT services operating along the JB Sentral–Tumpat–JB Sentral corridor.
The discounted fares are valid for travel between April 15 and October 14, allowing passengers to plan ahead for work trips, family visits or holidays.
Applicable on Weekdays for Standard Tickets
The promotion is limited to standard ticket holders travelling from Monday to Thursday and excludes school holidays and peak festive periods.
This approach helps manage passenger flow and ensures smoother operations during high-demand periods.
Strong Public Response to Promotion
KTMB revealed that 15,839 promo codes have already been redeemed, reflecting encouraging public uptake and confidence in rail services.
The response highlights growing interest in train travel as a convenient alternative.
