Hisense Introduces UR8 RGB MiniLED TVs With Advanced Display Technology for Global Consumers

Hisense has unveiled its new UR8 television series featuring next-generation RGB MiniLED technology aimed at delivering a more immersive premium home entertainment experience to consumers worldwide.

The launch reflects the company’s continued efforts to expand adoption of advanced display technologies by offering more natural colours, lifelike visuals and enhanced gaming performance.

According to Hisense, the UR8 series is powered by the company’s proprietary Chromagic Technology, which integrates a self-developed Chromagic RGB chip together with advanced optical systems and intelligent colour management technology.

The combination allows the television to deliver more accurate and vivid colour reproduction while achieving up to 100 per cent coverage of the BT.2020 colour gamut.

The company added that the RGB MiniLED technology was designed to maintain high energy efficiency while also reducing exposure to harmful blue light.

Hisense described RGB MiniLED as one of the major advancements shaping the evolution of the modern premium television industry.

Earlier this year, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) officially recognised RGB LED televisions as a new category within global display innovation.

According to Hisense, the recognition further strengthens the company’s position as one of the key players driving RGB MiniLED technology development in the consumer electronics industry.

The UR8 series is also powered by the Hi-View AI Engine RGB processor, designed to produce sharper visuals and deeper colour accuracy for movies, live sports broadcasts and gaming content.

For gaming enthusiasts, the television features Native 180Hz Game Mode, enabling smoother motion handling and faster response rates during high-speed gaming sessions.

Beyond display performance, the entertainment experience is further enhanced through a 2.1.2-channel surround sound system tuned by Devialet to deliver more cinematic and immersive audio quality.

Hisense said the introduction of the UR8 forms part of its broader strategy to accelerate global adoption of RGB MiniLED technology while making premium entertainment solutions more accessible to consumers.

According to the company, the combination of advanced display engineering, artificial intelligence processing and modern design positions the UR8 as an important step in the future evolution of home entertainment systems.

The launch also highlights increasing competition within the premium television market as global electronics manufacturers continue focusing on brighter displays, improved colour precision, faster refresh rates and more responsive gaming performance.

With growing demand for digital streaming platforms and gaming entertainment worldwide, RGB MiniLED technology is expected to continue emerging as one of the leading innovations shaping the future consumer electronics industry.
