AEKE S1 Pro raises US$5.86 million on Kickstarter as demand grows for AI-powered home gyms

NEW YORK: Artificial intelligence fitness technology company AEKE has achieved a major milestone after its AEKE S1 Pro Full-Body AI Home Gym campaign raised more than US$5.86 million on Kickstarter, becoming the platform’s most-funded home gym project to date.

The 39-day crowdfunding campaign attracted 1,885 backers, generating a total of US$5,866,348 and highlighting increasing global interest in smarter, personalised and technology-driven fitness solutions.

AEKE said the strong response reflects a growing shift in consumer preferences, with more people moving away from traditional workout equipment towards intelligent fitness systems that combine artificial intelligence, personalised coaching and adaptive training programmes.

The AEKE S1 Pro is designed as an all-in-one AI-powered home fitness system that combines strength training, mobility exercises, recovery and functional movement capabilities within a compact design.

The company said the system is capable of replacing the functions of more than 23 traditional gym machines through its adjustable arm structure measuring 7 × 9 × 3, offering 185 force-angle combinations and digitally controlled resistance settings.

The device also incorporates artificial intelligence technology that tracks 42 skeletal keypoints to analyse users’ movements in real time, providing feedback designed to improve workout performance, movement accuracy and training safety.

By combining advanced hardware with AI-driven analysis, AEKE aims to transform home workouts from simple exercise routines into more personalised training experiences similar to professional gym coaching.

The company said the success of the Kickstarter campaign demonstrates rising demand for fitness solutions that offer greater flexibility, accessibility and long-term engagement, especially as consumers increasingly seek ways to maintain health and strength from home.

Unlike many connected fitness platforms that rely on ongoing subscription fees, the AEKE S1 Pro provides lifetime access to AI coaching features and an expanding collection of guided workout programmes.

The system also supports multiple user profiles, allowing different family members to track their own training progress. Its design requires no permanent wall installation and can be folded into a compact footprint of approximately 3.2 square feet, making it suitable for modern home environments.

AEKE said the product represents a broader evolution within the home fitness industry, where artificial intelligence is becoming a key factor in delivering more responsive and personalised exercise experiences.

The company believes future home gyms will increasingly rely on intelligent technology to provide users with real-time guidance, performance analysis and customised training plans rather than functioning solely as traditional exercise equipment.

The success of AEKE S1 Pro reflects the wider growth of AI-powered consumer technology, where software intelligence and data-driven insights are becoming as important as physical hardware innovation.

Through its combination of artificial intelligence, smart equipment and personalised fitness data, AEKE aims to make professional-level strength training more accessible while helping users develop healthier and more sustainable lifestyles.
