Anwar Pushes for Timely Delivery of 13MP Projects in Terengganu

Kuala Lumpur — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has stressed the need for swift and efficient implementation of projects under the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP) in Terengganu, warning against delays in execution.

He said the government is focused on enhancing coordination among agencies while simplifying procedures to ensure projects are carried out smoothly and reach the rakyat without unnecessary obstacles.

“The true measure of success is reflected in the improvements experienced by the people, not merely in the planning stage,” he said via a social media post.

Earlier, Anwar chaired a development meeting in Kuala Terengganu to review progress and identify challenges affecting the rollout of 13MP initiatives.

He explained that the discussions prioritised sectors that directly impact daily life, including education, infrastructure, public transport, healthcare, socio-economic development and welfare support.

According to him, the government is adopting a holistic and values-driven approach anchored in compassion, fairness and integrity to ensure that all initiatives are effectively delivered.

Anwar expressed hope that the projects will generate tangible benefits and significantly enhance the well-being of communities in Terengganu.
