KTM Berhad expands ETS discount to 30 per cent nationwide to offer greater travel savings
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 18 — National railway operator KTM Berhad has announced a 30 per cent discount on Electric Train Service (ETS) tickets across all routes nationwide, effective immediately.
The company said in a Facebook statement that the promotion allows passengers to enjoy more affordable fares compared to the earlier offer.
Previously, KTM Berhad had introduced a 20 per cent discount for selected ETS services between February 18 and 22 in conjunction with Chinese New Year and the upcoming Ramadan period.
The latest promotion increases the discount to 30 per cent and extends it to cover all ETS routes.
Passengers can redeem the offer by entering promo codes NURRAMADAN or RAMADANTIBA during ticket purchase, depending on the selected train service.
Tickets are available via the KITS Style mobile application, KTMB’s official website, and authorised ticketing channels.
KTM Berhad advised travellers to book early to ensure availability, as the promotion is subject to limited seats.
The offer is valid for a limited time and is expected to attract strong demand.
The initiative aims to encourage more Malaysians to choose rail transport while helping reduce travel expenses during the festive and Ramadan seasons.
