Unstable Blood Sugar Prompts Delay in Roy Azman’s Surgery
KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran actor Roy Azman has postponed his scheduled surgery after medical examinations revealed that his blood sugar levels remain unstable.
Roy said doctors advised delaying the procedure to minimise health risks and ensure a safer surgical process.
“My surgery was planned for today, but it had to be postponed because my blood sugar is still high. I need to wait until it returns to a safe level,” he said.
The update was shared through a video posted on SINAR radio’s social media platforms.
Hospitalised for Infection Treatment
In the same video, Roy, whose real name is Zairosminan Abdul Rahman, revealed that he is currently hospitalised due to an infection in his groin area that requires surgical intervention.
“I’m still in the ward. The infection needs treatment and surgery, but everything depends on my recovery,” he explained.
He also thanked fans, colleagues, and supporters for their continuous prayers and encouragement.
“I’m very grateful for all the prayers and support. May God bless everyone,” he added.
Focus on Recovery
Roy said his main priority now is to focus on medical treatment and recovery before returning to professional commitments.
Fans and industry peers have since expressed hopes for his speedy recovery and eventual return to the entertainment scene.
