Selangor Royal Council Slams Online Insult as Serious Attack on Monarchy
PETALING JAYA, April 28 — The Selangor Royal Council has issued a strong condemnation over an online post deemed insulting to Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, describing it as a deeply offensive act that undermines the dignity of the monarchy.
In a statement released through the Selangor Royal Office, council members stressed that the act goes beyond ordinary misconduct, warning that it represents a direct challenge to the institution of the Malay rulers, which serves as a cornerstone of national stability and unity.
