Radja’s 25th Anniversary Concert Rescheduled to September to Enhance Fan Experience
KUALA LUMPUR: The organisers of the highly anticipated Revolusi Radja 25 Tahun concert have announced that the event will now take place on 19 September 2026, instead of its original date of 11 July, with the venue remaining at Stadium Hoki Bukit Jalil.
The decision was jointly made by Dhyah Production and Infinity Love Creative Ventures after evaluating several factors that could affect the overall concert experience, including scheduling conflicts with other major entertainment events and the timing of the upcoming state elections.
According to organiser representative Mubarak Akhtar Mohd Aris, the revised date is expected to provide fans with a more convenient opportunity to attend the concert while allowing organisers to deliver a smoother and more enjoyable production.
He said the organisers carefully reviewed the current event calendar before reaching the decision, believing that postponing the concert would minimise potential logistical challenges and improve the overall experience for concertgoers.
Among the considerations highlighted were the possibility of heavy traffic congestion, limited parking availability and increased crowd movement resulting from multiple large-scale events taking place around the original concert date. By moving the show to September, the organisers hope to create a more comfortable environment for fans travelling from different parts of Malaysia and neighbouring countries.
Mubarak also expressed appreciation to fans for their understanding and continued support, emphasising that the organising team remains committed to presenting a memorable concert worthy of Radja’s milestone celebration.
The concert commemorates the Indonesian rock band’s 25th anniversary in the music industry and is expected to feature a selection of the group’s best-known songs that have remained popular among audiences in both Malaysia and Indonesia over the past two decades.
To further enhance the celebration, the organisers confirmed that several special guest performers will join the event, although additional details regarding the guest lineup will be announced at a later date.
The anniversary concert is expected to combine nostalgic performances with modern stage production, celebrating Radja’s musical journey and longstanding relationship with fans across the region.
Organisers said preparations for the September event will continue as scheduled, with the additional time allowing the production team to further refine technical arrangements and event logistics.
With the new date now confirmed, fans can look forward to a larger-scale celebration honouring one of Indonesia’s most recognisable rock bands, as Revolusi Radja 25 Tahun prepares to deliver an evening dedicated to the music, memories and legacy that Radja has built over the past quarter of a century.
