ZK Racing Expands Global Footprint with Strategic Role in MotoMini China Development

PETALING JAYA, April 25 — ZK Racing is strengthening its international presence after being appointed by Guangzhou Conghua International Circuit (GCIC) as a strategic partner to develop the FIM MotoMini China Championship.

The appointment highlights growing recognition of Malaysia’s capability in building a structured and competitive grassroots motorsports ecosystem.

MotoMini Malaysia Forms Foundation of Trust

ZK Racing director Zulfahmi Khairuddin said the success of MotoMini Malaysia played a key role in securing the partnership.

He noted that the programme has established a clear pathway for nurturing young riders through a well-organised development system.

On-Ground Evaluation Strengthened Confidence

Prior to finalising the agreement, GCIC representatives visited Malaysia to assess ZK Racing’s operational model and development framework.

Participation by Chinese riders in MotoMini Malaysia also provided first-hand insight into the programme’s quality and standards.

Strategic Role in Raising Championship Standards

Under the collaboration, ZK Racing will contribute to enhancing MotoMini China’s technical setup, race operations and event management.

Its experience in organising FIM MiniGP Malaysia since 2020 will serve as a foundation for elevating the championship’s overall quality.

MotoMini China Adopts Malaysia as Benchmark

Since its launch in 2024, MotoMini China has progressed rapidly, using MotoMini Malaysia as a key benchmark for grassroots racing development.

This reflects Malaysia’s increasing influence within the regional motorsports landscape.

Guangzhou OHVALE Cup to Gather Regional Talent

The Guangzhou OHVALE Cup, scheduled for August, is expected to attract over 100 riders from across Asia.

ZK Racing will be involved as a technical and management consultant to ensure the event meets international standards.

Collaboration Enhances Regional Motorsport Ecosystem

The partnership underscores a shared commitment to advancing grassroots motorsports across Asia, while enabling knowledge transfer and raising competitive standards within the region.
