Tiz Zaqyah Reveals She Feels Emotionally Drained on Film Sets
PETALING JAYA: Actress Tiz Zaqyah has admitted that she no longer enjoys being on filming sets after spending many years in the acting industry.
Tiz, whose full name is Siti Zaqyah Abdul Razak, said the excitement she once felt about acting has gradually disappeared and has now been replaced by feelings of anxiety whenever she is on set.
According to the actress, she currently feels far more peaceful staying at home than living the demanding routine of an acting career.
“I honestly don’t know what happened, but I feel like I no longer want to be on filming sets anymore.
“The excitement disappeared a long time ago and all I feel now is anxiety and the urge to quickly return home,” she shared on Threads.
Her remarks immediately sparked questions among fans about the future direction of the Nur Kasih star’s entertainment career after years in the spotlight.
However, Tiz did not elaborate further on the exact reasons behind her growing loss of interest in acting.
At the same time, she hinted that she still intends to return to the entertainment industry after taking time to rest and recover emotionally.
“I will return soon, God willing. I think I had already started losing interest in acting before this. Too many things happened, and perhaps it was also because of my own situation.
“I feel sad because I never realised how exhausted I truly was and how much I forced myself to keep going even when I could no longer cope,” she said.
The actress’ emotional confession received strong reactions from fans, many of whom believed she may be experiencing emotional and mental exhaustion caused by years of pressure in the entertainment industry.
Many supporters also expressed hope that Tiz would be given the time and space she needs to rest before eventually returning to acting in a healthier and more positive state of mind.
