REPT BATTERO tops global residential energy storage battery cell market in H1 2026 amid strong revenue growth

SHANGHAI: Battery manufacturer REPT BATTERO has retained its position as the world’s largest supplier of residential energy storage battery cells during the first half of 2026, reinforcing its growing influence in the global energy storage industry as demand for clean energy solutions continues to accelerate.

The latest global shipment rankings, jointly released by ICCSINO and NECI, also placed the company second worldwide in commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage battery cell shipments, underscoring its expanding presence across multiple energy storage segments.

The industry recognition comes alongside a period of robust financial performance, with REPT BATTERO projecting first-half revenue of between RMB14.5 billion and RMB15.2 billion (approximately €1.87 billion to €1.96 billion), representing year-on-year growth of 52.8 to 60.1 per cent.

The company also expects net profit to reach between RMB700 million and RMB850 million (€90 million to €110 million), surpassing the total earnings it generated throughout the entire 2025 financial year.

REPT BATTERO attributed its sustained market leadership to continuous investment in battery research, product innovation and manufacturing capabilities since entering the residential energy storage sector in 2019.

After introducing one of the industry’s earliest mainstream 50Ah residential battery cell platforms, the company progressively expanded its portfolio to include 72Ah, 100Ah, 280Ah, 314Ah and its latest WENDING® 392Ah battery cell platform.

The expanded product range enables the company to serve a broad spectrum of applications, including residential energy storage systems, commercial and industrial installations, as well as utility-scale renewable energy projects.

Rather than offering uniform products across all markets, REPT BATTERO said it adopts a regional strategy by developing battery solutions tailored to local operating conditions and customer requirements.

Battery cells designed for mature renewable energy markets such as Europe and Australia prioritise extended cycle life and long-term performance, while cost-efficient solutions have been introduced to support rapidly growing demand across Southeast Asia and Africa.

According to independent market research cited by the company, battery cells manufactured by REPT BATTERO are currently used by three of Europe’s five most recognised residential battery brands.

The company has also established itself as a major battery cell supplier to several leading residential energy storage system providers in Australia.

Today, REPT BATTERO’s residential battery technologies are deployed across Europe, North America, Australia, South Africa and Southeast Asia, where the company says its products have built a strong reputation for operational safety, durability and long-term reliability.

To support its expanding international footprint, REPT BATTERO has introduced a “Global Standard, Local Delivery” operating framework that combines globally standardised manufacturing quality and project management with region-specific implementation.

The framework enables the company to customise product deployment according to local regulations, electricity grid requirements and customer needs while maintaining consistent manufacturing and quality standards across international markets.

The model has already been implemented in projects throughout Europe and Australia, with further expansion planned across North America and Southeast Asia as the company continues to strengthen its global presence.

Looking ahead, REPT BATTERO said it will continue investing in battery innovation, advanced manufacturing technologies and international delivery capabilities to support the next phase of global energy storage expansion as countries accelerate renewable energy adoption and electricity storage deployment worldwide.
