Mohd Radzi Md Jidin posts photo with Abdul Hadi Awang, brief message draws political attention

KUALA TERENGGANU, Feb 18 — Datuk Dr. Mohd Radzi Md Jidin, who was recently assigned to perform the duties of deputy president of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), shared a photograph showing his meeting with PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang on his social media account today.

The image was uploaded on his official Facebook page and accompanied by a short caption that read “Alhamdulillah”, without further explanation regarding the location or purpose of the meeting.

Also present in the photograph were several other political figures, including PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan, who also serves as deputy secretary-general of Perikatan Nasional.

PAS central committee member Mohd Syahir Che Sulaiman and Terengganu Bersatu chief Datuk Razali Idris were also seen in the picture.

Razali later shared the same image on his Facebook page, adding a brief caption that read “Insya-Allah”.

The post attracted attention as it came shortly after Mohd Radzi assumed a significant leadership responsibility within Bersatu.

Last Saturday, the party’s Supreme Leadership Council agreed to appoint Mohd Radzi and Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu to carry out the duties of deputy president.

The move was aimed at maintaining continuity in the party’s leadership following recent developments.

At the same time, Mohd Radzi has been mentioned as a potential candidate for the opposition leader role.

This follows leadership changes within the opposition bloc.

Earlier, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin had also shared images of his meeting with PAS leaders in Rusila, Terengganu.

Mohd Radzi’s latest post has therefore generated interest among observers tracking political developments.

Although the caption was brief, the timing of the post has added to ongoing discussions about political dynamics.

It reflects continued engagement among opposition leaders amid evolving political circumstances.
