
DJI Reveals Osmo Pocket 4P At Cannes With Focus On Portable Cinematic Filmmaking
CANNES: DJI has introduced its latest portable gimbal camera, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P, at the Cannes Film Festival 2026, showcasing the company’s newest evolution in compact cinematic imaging technology.
The launch at the international film event highlights DJI’s effort to position the Osmo Pocket lineup as a professional filmmaking solution for filmmakers, documentary producers and digital content creators.
According to DJI, the new device was developed using the company’s experience in professional cinematography technologies through products such as the DJI Ronin and DJI Inspire platforms.
The DJI Osmo Pocket 4P features a next-generation imaging system offering expanded dynamic range together with 10-bit D-Log2 colour recording support for professional-level editing and colour grading workflows.
DJI also incorporated its advanced camera stabilization expertise to ensure smoother and more stable footage even during handheld mobile shooting without large production equipment.
According to the company, the camera is designed to provide high-quality cinematic recording capabilities in an ultra-compact form suitable for flexible filming across different locations.
Throughout the Cannes event, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P attracted attention from independent filmmakers, documentary creators and social media content producers seeking lightweight equipment capable of delivering professional-quality visuals.
Among the upgraded features are improved portrait recording capabilities designed to create more natural skin tones and stronger cinematic depth for storytelling-focused content.
