As 2026 begins, PM Anwar urges Malaysians to march forward together under Malaysia MADANI
KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged Malaysians to embrace the New Year with strong unity and shared determination to drive forward the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI.
In his message welcoming 2026, Anwar said the government remains committed to governing with trust, honesty and compassion, ensuring meaningful reforms continue and the nation’s prosperity benefits all Malaysians.
He emphasised the need for collective strength and solidarity in advancing the nation, while ensuring Malaysia remains peaceful, harmonious and progressive.
“Let us walk together with united steps and firm resolve to build a stronger, fairer and more prosperous Malaysia MADANI,” he said.
Anwar and his wife Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail also prayed for continued peace, harmony and prosperity for the nation.
