PETALING JAYA, Feb 12 — Actress Nad Zainal has addressed recent social media comments questioning her appearance, confirming that she is currently pregnant with her fourth child.
The 34-year-old star revealed that she had no initial plans to make a public announcement, viewing the pregnancy as a private matter within her family.
“I didn’t intend to announce it. It’s already my fourth child, so I felt there was no need to turn it into a big public statement,” she said.
However, online remarks about her figure, particularly her midsection, eventually prompted her to speak up.
Setting the Record Straight
According to Nad, speculation about her gaining weight led her to clarify the situation.
“Some people said I was putting on weight and not taking care of myself. I’m not gaining weight — I’m pregnant,” she explained.
Although she prefers to keep her personal matters low-key, Nad felt it was necessary to respond in order to prevent further misunderstanding.
She also urged followers to offer encouragement rather than criticism.
“Just keep us in your prayers. Positive words mean a lot,” she said.

Nad was previously married to Faliq Amiruddin in 2015, and they share two children before separating in 2022. She later married actor Ungku Ismail in January 2023, and the couple welcomed a child together.
