Puteri Balqis’ Mother Claims She Was Manipulated During Difficult Period, Veteran Actress Allegedly Involved

PETALING JAYA, Feb 8 — Norashikin Mohd Aziz, the mother of Malaysian actress Puteri Balqis, has alleged that she was manipulated during one of the most difficult periods of her life, claiming the incident involved a veteran female artiste and a politically influential individual.

Norashikin shared the account during a recent episode of the SembangOhhYeahh podcast, which has since gained widespread attention online. She recalled the incident as having occurred several years ago, at a time when her daughter, known as Aqish, was suffering from a serious health condition that affected her eyesight.

According to Norashikin, while she was emotionally distressed and desperately seeking medical help for her child, she was approached by the veteran actress who claimed to have access to an influential figure willing to arrange specialist treatment. The offer, she said, was presented as a private gesture of assistance, with assurances that it would involve no media exposure.

Norashikin alleged that on the day in question, Aqish was left at a restaurant in Brickfields while she was taken to an undisclosed double-storey house. She said the veteran artiste accompanied her, but upon arrival, the situation did not match what had been promised.

“There was no doctor, no treatment, nothing that had been discussed earlier,” she said, adding that she quickly realised something was amiss and felt she had been placed in a vulnerable and manipulative situation.

Following the incident, Norashikin said she was returned to the restaurant where her daughter had been waiting. She chose not to reveal the true nature of what had occurred, instead telling Aqish that the promised medical assistance could not proceed.

She explained that the truth was kept from her daughter for years in an effort to protect her emotionally. However, when the matter eventually came to light, it had a profound emotional impact on Aqish and affected the family’s ability to trust others.

The revelations have sparked public discussion on social media, raising concerns about the exploitation of trust and the risks faced by individuals who are approached with offers of help during moments of personal crisis.
