Hakim Danish Targets Another Strong Moto3 Finish at Dutch GP After Historic Czech Victory

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Moto3 rider Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli is determined to build on his breakthrough victory at the Czech Grand Prix by delivering another strong performance at this weekend’s Dutch Grand Prix at the Assen Circuit.

The 18-year-old AEON Credit-MT Helmets-MSI rider said he has quickly shifted his attention to the next challenge, viewing the upcoming race as a fresh opportunity rather than dwelling on his maiden Moto3 triumph.

Hakim Danish said maintaining the same level of focus and preparation that brought success at Brno will be crucial if he hopes to remain competitive throughout the Dutch GP weekend.

“My full concentration is now on Assen. I need to establish my pace from the opening free practice session and quickly understand both the circuit and the bike so I can build confidence for the race weekend,” he said in a statement.

He acknowledged that the Assen Circuit presents a different challenge due to its combination of high-speed corners and technical sections, making early adaptation especially important.

The Malaysian rider plans to maximise every practice and qualifying session to fine-tune the motorcycle before the main race, which takes place from June 26 to 28.

Hakim Danish heads into the event with growing confidence after producing a remarkable recovery drive at the Czech Grand Prix, where he fought back from 14th on the starting grid to secure his first Moto3 victory.

He crossed the finish line in 33 minutes 34.26 seconds, finishing ahead of Spain’s Brian Uriarte of Red Bull KTM Ajo, while fellow Spaniard Marco Quiles of CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team completed the podium.

The Czech victory followed another career milestone last month when Hakim Danish claimed his maiden Moto3 podium by finishing third at the Italian Grand Prix in Mugello.

His success at Brno also ended Malaysia’s 10-year wait for a Moto3 race winner, with the country’s previous victories coming through Khairul Idham Pawi at the Argentine and German Grands Prix during the 2016 season.
