
Huawei Expands Smart Ecosystem With New AI-Powered Devices At Global Launch In Bangkok
BANGKOK: Huawei unveiled a new generation of smart devices during its global “Now Is Your Spark” launch event in Bangkok, Thailand, highlighting the company’s growing focus on all-scenario technology and connected digital lifestyles.
The launch featured several flagship products including the HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max, HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series, HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition and the new HUAWEI nova 15 Max smartphone.
The event underscored Huawei’s strategy of building a connected ecosystem where productivity, fitness, entertainment and smart living technologies work seamlessly together.
Ultra-Thin MatePad Pro Max Targets Mobile Productivity
Among the most prominent announcements was the introduction of the HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max, which Huawei described as a flagship tablet combining portability with PC-level productivity.
The device measures only 4.7 millimetres thick and weighs approximately 499 grams, making it one of the thinnest and lightest tablets in the 13-inch-and-above category.
Huawei also introduced a special PaperMatte Edition designed to provide a more comfortable viewing experience, particularly for reading and creative work over extended periods.
The tablet includes productivity-focused features such as multitasking support, creative applications and desktop-style functionality aimed at professionals, students and content creators.
According to Huawei, the lightweight design allows users to work more efficiently while remaining highly mobile.
Smartwatches Designed For Active Users
Huawei also refreshed its wearable lineup with the launch of the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series targeting younger and fitness-oriented consumers.
The smartwatch maintains Huawei’s signature square design while introducing a more modern and colourful appearance.
It supports a variety of fitness activities including cycling, golf, trail running and tennis while offering workout analysis, tracking tools and training guidance.
Huawei said the watch is intended to encourage users to adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle through interactive mini-workout features.
Meanwhile, the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition was introduced specifically for runners and marathon enthusiasts.
The device includes a new running ability index and a professional training dashboard designed to help athletes analyse performance and improve training efficiency.
Huawei said the smartwatch aims to deliver a professional-level running experience for users at all levels.
Luxury Wearables And Kids Smartwatch Series
Another highlight was the launch of the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition developed in collaboration with renowned jewellery designer Francesca Amfitheatrof.
Inspired by spring, the luxury smartwatch features 99 natural diamonds and diamond-cut sapphire glass, symbolising elegance and feminine strength.
Huawei also expanded its children’s wearable segment through the introduction of the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Series.
The smartwatch comes equipped with a 110-degree ultra-wide front camera, a 1.82-inch AMOLED display and augmented reality features to create a more interactive experience for children.
Huawei said the device allows children to capture moments from their daily adventures while giving parents additional connectivity and monitoring tools.
Nova 15 Max Focuses On Young Consumers
In the smartphone category, the HUAWEI nova 15 Max was introduced as a device tailored for young digital users and social media enthusiasts.
The smartphone features a 50-megapixel RYYB Ultra Vision Camera capable of capturing clearer images in low-light and backlit environments.
It is powered by a large 8,500mAh battery designed for all-day usage while the durable body construction aims to reduce damage from accidental drops.
The device also includes a vivid OLED display and symmetrical stereo speakers for an immersive multimedia experience.
