PKR Balik Pulau United, No Factional Divide, Says Mohd Tuah
BALIK PULAU: Mohd Tuah Ismail has reiterated that there are no rival factions within the PKR Balik Pulau division, stressing that the branch is operating in a coordinated and inclusive manner.
He said all committee members have been assigned clear responsibilities through the party’s bureau system, allowing the organisation to function smoothly without internal friction.
“Each member has a defined role, and we work together as one team. There is no issue of anyone being sidelined,” he said.
Early concerns over alignment dismissed
Mohd Tuah, who won the division leadership after defeating Muhammad Bakhtiar Wan Chik in last year’s party election, acknowledged that initial concerns were raised when committee positions were largely filled by individuals aligned with his former rival.
However, he maintained that the branch has continued to operate effectively despite those dynamics.
Priority on organisational strength
He said the division is now focused on consolidating its internal structure and strengthening its grassroots machinery in preparation for the next general election.
“We remain focused on our responsibilities and preparations, without being distracted by internal speculation,” he said.
Collective leadership approach
Mohd Tuah added that the division’s strength lies in its collective leadership model, supported by 14 bureaus covering key areas such as education, welfare, youth, women, legal affairs and persons with disabilities.
With more than 6,000 members, he said the bureau system ensures active participation and shared responsibility across the organisation.
