TTMM2: Nana Mahazan and Althea Exit Competition in Emotional Week Three
SHAH ALAM, May 4 — The third week of Talk To My Manager season two (TTMM2) saw the elimination of mother-daughter duo Nana Mahazan and Althea after falling to the bottom of the leaderboard.
Althea’s performance of Halaman Cinta earned her 58.67 per cent, placing her last among the contestants for the week.
The result brought visible disappointment, though Nana remained composed and expressed pride in her daughter’s efforts throughout the competition.
“There’s certainly a sense of disappointment, but Althea has given her best every week. As a mother, I’m proud of her journey,” she said.
She added that elimination is part of any competition and something every contestant must eventually face.
Althea, however, admitted she had hoped to stay longer in the competition, sharing her sadness at having to leave earlier than expected.
“I really hoped to continue at least another week. I’ll miss everyone here and the experience we shared,” she said.
Meanwhile, Ani Mayuni and Viviana emerged as the top performers of the night, scoring 84.33 per cent with their rendition of Bintang dari Budak Kaca Mata.
Viviana described the achievement as rewarding but bittersweet, as she also felt the loss of a close companion in the competition.
“I’m happy with the result, but it’s also sad to see a close friend leave. The support we’ve received means everything,” she said.
In the special awards category, Safura and her artiste Kim Khairie received the Eskayve Inspirational Award, while A. Aida was named Best Performing Manager.
The show continues to feature a panel of permanent judges including Syafinaz Selamat, Sarimah Ibrahim and AC Mizal, with Ramli MS appearing as a guest judge.
With this latest elimination, the competition is expected to intensify as remaining contestants push harder to secure their place in the next stage.
