MARSTEK Unveils VENUS E Family at Intersolar Europe 2026 to Drive Next Generation of Plug-in Batteries
MUNICH: Renewable energy technology company MARSTEK Energy has unveiled its new VENUS E Family at Intersolar Europe 2026, introducing a comprehensive portfolio of plug-in batteries aimed at transforming residential energy storage from basic entry-level solutions to advanced whole-home systems.
The launch, held at the company’s booth during one of Europe’s largest renewable energy exhibitions, marks MARSTEK’s latest push to expand its presence in the fast-growing home energy storage market as consumers increasingly seek smarter and more sustainable power solutions.
According to the company, the VENUS E Family is designed to cater to a wide range of households, from first-time users looking for compact energy storage systems to homeowners seeking scalable solutions capable of powering an entire residence.
One of the standout products is the VENUS E Mini, which MARSTEK describes as the world’s thinnest plug-in battery.
The compact system is targeted at entry-level users and homes with limited installation space, offering 1.5kW of bidirectional power, 2kWh of storage capacity and a slim wall-mounted design weighing just 22 kilograms.
The battery is also equipped with AI-powered energy forecasting technology, enabling homeowners to optimise electricity consumption based on usage patterns and energy demand.
Another key product in the lineup is the VENUS E 4.0, which is designed for households that already have rooftop solar systems.
The system combines 3kW charging and discharging capability with a 5kWh battery in an AC-coupled architecture that allows easy integration with existing solar installations.
MARSTEK said the battery features AI-driven energy optimisation, Virtual Power Plant (VPP) functionality, whole-home backup capability and seamless integration with electric vehicle chargers.
Through its SmartBox expansion technology, the system can be scaled up to 9kW of output power and 15kWh of storage capacity, allowing homeowners to expand their energy ecosystem as their needs grow.
For users with larger electricity demands, MARSTEK introduced the VENUS E MAX, which it claims is the world’s first all-in-one plug-in battery with a built-in 10kWh capacity.
The system delivers 3.6kW of bidirectional power and can be expanded through SmartBox parallel connections to reach 10.8kW and 30kWh of total storage.
The company said VENUS E MAX is designed to create a complete residential energy ecosystem, combining intelligent energy management, whole-home backup functionality and EV charging support in a single solution.
MARSTEK also showcased the VENUS E Pro, an all-in-one modular battery equipped with a 3kW high-voltage MPPT and 2kW AC coupling.
The system starts with a storage capacity of 2.08kWh and can be expanded up to 12.48kWh.
It supports photovoltaic inputs ranging from 50V to 500V and allows homeowners to connect between two and eight solar panels through a single MPPT channel.
According to the company, the simplified design requires only two PV wires, reducing installation complexity and making the system more installer-friendly.
The VENUS E Pro also features AI-powered energy management, emergency power switching in less than 10 milliseconds and long-lasting lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells capable of more than 10,000 charging cycles.
Beyond the product launch, MARSTEK announced plans to host a VENUS E Family Launch Event and VENUS E Mini Workshop in Eindhoven, the Netherlands on June 30.
The event is expected to provide industry partners and customers with a closer look at the company’s latest technologies and future trends in home energy storage.
MARSTEK said its strategy of combining intelligent software, flexible installation and scalable hardware aims to make advanced home energy storage more accessible, efficient and user-friendly.
“Our mission is to make advanced home energy storage smarter, simpler and available to households worldwide,” the company said.
