Beloved Malaysian actor Dharma Harun Al Rashid has passed away at his home around 9.10pm, leaving the local arts community in mourning.
His son, Muhammad Al Syafiq, 36, shared the heartbreaking news in a simple Instagram post that read:
“My father passed away when I returned home earlier at 9.10pm.”
Reports state that Al Syafiq had just come back from a class at ASWARA when he found his father unresponsive.
The 69-year-old actor, celebrated for his roles in classic films such as Adik Manja and Sikit Punya Gila, had been in declining health in recent months, with his weight dropping to only 45kg.
Dharma lived with his two children, both of whom are continuing their studies in the arts.
His remains will be managed at the Abu Ubaidah Mosque in Taman Sri Rampai.
