KUALA LUMPUR: The rising music phenomenon from Eastern Indonesia is set to electrify Malaysia’s entertainment scene through Malam FYP Timur, a debut concert scheduled for April 24, 2026, at 8.30pm at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.
Organised by Gaga Entertainment, the concert will feature three prominent Indonesian acts — Silet Open Up, Faris Adam, and Ecko Show — all of whom have built massive followings through viral digital content.
According to the organiser, the artists were selected based on their strong online influence and consistent performance on streaming platforms.
Silet Open Up gained regional fame through Tabola Bale, which has surpassed 475 million streams on Spotify and accumulated more than 350 million views on YouTube. Faris Adam rose to prominence with Stecu Stecu, recording over 150 million Spotify streams and 184 million YouTube views.
Meanwhile, Ecko Show is widely recognised as one of Indonesia’s leading hip hop figures, known for socially grounded storytelling and strong youth appeal, with more than 250 million Spotify streams and 600 million YouTube views.
The organiser described Malam FYP Timur as more than just a concert, positioning it as a cultural celebration that bridges regional connections through music.
“Our goal is to bring the digital phenomenon of Eastern Indonesian music directly to Malaysian audiences and create a meaningful cross-border experience,” a representative said.
Ticket prices range from RM188 to RM238, while a VIP Box for 10 people is available at RM5,000. Tickets can be purchased via Ticket2U.
The event is supported by several official partners, including ERA.FM as radio partner, Astro Gempak as digital partner, Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur as hotel partner, and Events Medical Support & Services as medical partner.
