JIMMY Unveils Matrix Series With Hot, Cold, Sparkling Water and Ice Features in One Smart System
BERLIN: JIMMY has expanded its smart home appliance portfolio with the launch of the Matrix Series in Europe, introducing a modular countertop reverse osmosis (RO) water purification system that combines hot water, cold sparkling water and ice-making capabilities in a single device.
The new series, launched ahead of the summer season, is centred around the Matrix M9 Pro, a countertop RO water purifier that can be paired with two detachable modules — the S9 cold sparkling water maker and the I9 ice maker and crusher.
Together, the three components are designed to create what JIMMY describes as a “Home Bar” experience, transforming a conventional water purifier into a multifunctional beverage station for modern households.
The company said the concept goes beyond basic hydration by giving consumers the ability to prepare a variety of drinks while maintaining convenience and space efficiency.
One of the key features of the Matrix Series is its zero-plumbing design, a hallmark of JIMMY products that allows the system to operate without any permanent water connection or professional installation.
Users can simply plug the unit in and begin using it immediately, making it suitable for homes, apartments and offices where traditional plumbing modifications may not be practical.
The Matrix M9 Pro is equipped with a seven-stage RO filtration system featuring a 0.0001-micron membrane and ultraviolet sterilisation technology.
According to JIMMY, the system removes up to 99.9 per cent of contaminants, including heavy metals, bacteria, PFAS and other impurities that may affect water quality.
After the filtration process, the system restores essential minerals to enhance the taste and provide water with a flavour profile similar to natural spring water.
The company estimates that each unit could help eliminate the use of more than 3,500 single-use plastic bottles annually, supporting more sustainable household consumption.
To give users greater confidence in water quality, the Matrix Series also features real-time monitoring of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and filter lifespan.
This enables users to track water purity and maintenance requirements without relying on manual checks.
Beyond purification, the Matrix M9 Pro offers instant hot water with adjustable temperature and volume settings.
The feature is designed for a wide range of daily uses, including preparing baby formula, brewing tea or coffee, and making other hot beverages.
Consumers seeking more beverage options can attach the S9 module to produce chilled sparkling water or connect the I9 module to make ice cubes and crushed ice.
Both accessories utilise JIMMY’s AquaLink technology, which enables seamless integration through a built-in slide-out compartment in the main unit.
The modular design allows users to customise the system according to their needs while keeping countertops neat and uncluttered.
According to JIMMY, the Matrix Series is aimed at consumers looking for an all-in-one beverage solution that fits modern lifestyles.
The company said the system allows households to create their own drink station, whether for everyday family use or for entertaining guests with sparkling beverages and ice-based drinks.
