Janna Nick Slams Fake Account Claims, Calls Allegations “Fabricated”

PETALING JAYA: Actress and host Janna Nick has pushed back strongly against claims linking her to a fake Threads account, describing the allegations as baseless and fabricated.

Janna said she sees no reason to create a fake account to lodge complaints against an airline crew member, as suggested by circulating online narratives.

She further clarified that she is currently in Japan and had been in China since mid-April, raising doubts over claims that the account in question originated from the United Kingdom.

“Where’s the logic? I’ve been overseas since the 13th, and suddenly I’m linked to an account from the UK,” she said in a Threads post.

She added that the situation reflects how easily misinformation spreads online, with some individuals quick to believe unverified claims.

At the same time, Janna dismissed rumours that she was planning to take legal action against an airline, describing such speculation as exaggerated.

“I don’t even know which airline I’m supposedly suing. It sounds more like a scripted drama than reality,” she remarked.

The controversy began after an individual believed to be an airline crew member accused the actress of being uncooperative during a flight that reportedly faced technical issues.

Shortly after, a social media account believed by some to be fake surfaced, lodging complaints against the crew member and fuelling widespread speculation.

However, the claim linking the account to Janna appears to rely solely on its reported UK origin, without any concrete evidence.
