ICECO to Highlight New VL45PLUS Off-Grid Portable Fridge at Overland Expo West 2026
BREA, California: ICECO will present its latest VL45PLUS portable freezer during Overland Expo West 2026 as the company continues expanding its range of off-grid refrigeration products for outdoor enthusiasts and overland travellers.
The new portable refrigerator will be displayed at Booth D10 during the annual outdoor lifestyle event held at Fort Tuthill County Park in Flagstaff, Arizona from May 15 to 17.
According to ICECO, the VL45PLUS was designed to support extended overlanding journeys, camping trips and vehicle-based outdoor adventures where reliable cooling and storage flexibility are increasingly important.
Among the standout features introduced in the new model is a three-way access design that allows users to retrieve stored food and supplies more conveniently from different angles while travelling or camping in confined spaces.
The unit also comes with a removable basket system that offers more adaptable storage arrangements for outdoor equipment, food supplies and travel gear.
To improve cooling efficiency and minimise thermal loss, the VL45PLUS incorporates Vacuum Insulated Panel technology aimed at maintaining stable internal temperatures during long off-grid expeditions.
The portable freezer is also compatible with mobile power systems, enabling users to operate the unit in remote environments without depending on conventional electrical infrastructure.
ICECO said the VL45PLUS was developed with durability in mind and features a rugged construction equipped with a metal mounting system and reinforced tie-down points for added stability during rough terrain travel.
Marketing director David said the modern overlanding community increasingly seeks products capable of combining durability, convenience and adaptability for long-distance outdoor lifestyles.
