Farhash Wafa is no longer a significant HeiTech Padu shareholder.

KUALA LUMPUR: HeiTech Padu Bhd no longer counts Datuk Farhash Wafa Salvador as a significant stakeholder.

In a report to Bursa Malaysia today, HeiTech Padu said that, in accordance with Section 8(4) of the Companies Act 2016, the termination of his stake was brought about by changes in shareholding in Mfivesouthsea Sdn Bhd, the parent company of Rosetta Partners Sdn Bhd.

On March 12, 2024, Rosetta Partners acquired a 15.9 percent stake in HeiTech Padu through direct commercial transactions, making it a significant shareholder.

The Road Transport Department (JPJ) awarded HeiTech Padu a RM190 million contract for the upkeep and technical support of ICT infrastructure, including MySikap, at the JPJ data center and offices. This contract has lately brought HeiTech Padu notoriety. In a statement outlining the contract award procedure, Transport Minister Anthony Loke stated that HeiTech Padu was chosen for the contract after a competitive proposal was made available to the public.

“On December 4, 2023, the Ministry of Finance received the acceptance (for HeiTech Padu) for final approval. On February 8, 2024, Treasury approval was obtained for RM185 million, exclusive of service tax, he stated in the statement.
