
Anwar Reaffirms Commitment to Inclusive Development and Welfare in Kelantan
KUALA LUMPUR: The federal government remains committed to improving the welfare and dignity of the people of Kelantan through a comprehensive development approach spanning infrastructure, education, economic growth and religious institutions.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said the efforts are guided by a clear objective to ensure that no community is left behind and that all segments of society benefit from equitable growth.
He emphasised the importance of strong coordination between federal and state authorities to ensure development plans are effectively implemented.

Anwar noted that closer cooperation between both levels of government is essential to translate policies into tangible outcomes for the people.

During a recent working visit to Kelantan, Anwar took part in several engagements aimed at reviewing development progress and addressing local needs.
The visit included the official opening of the new terminal at Sultan Ismail Petra Airport and participation in a district-level development meeting in Pasir Puteh.
He also attended community engagement sessions and visited a local mosque as part of efforts to connect with residents.

The government’s strategy for Kelantan goes beyond physical infrastructure, incorporating social and religious dimensions to ensure balanced development.
