PMO Announces Tengku Zafrul’s Appointment as Senior Political Adviser to the Prime Minister

PUTRAJAYA, March 4 — The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has confirmed that Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz has been appointed as Senior Political Adviser to the Prime Minister.

In an official statement released today, the PMO said the appointment received the Prime Minister’s approval and takes effect immediately.

The statement also noted that Tengku Zafrul will serve in the position for a two-year term.

The role of Senior Political Adviser was established to fill a vacancy within the Prime Minister’s administrative structure, particularly following the absence of a senior political secretary post.
