
3,000 Bubur Lambuk Packs Distributed in Putrajaya to Mark Ramadan 2026, Food Riders Recognised
PUTRAJAYA — A total of 3,000 bubur lambuk packs were distributed to residents in Putrajaya through a special drive-through programme held in conjunction with Ramadan 2026.
The initiative also focused on food delivery riders, recognising their role in supporting the gig economy.
Pulse Group chief executive officer Abd. Rahim Md. Junoh said the programme was a gesture of appreciation towards food delivery riders.
He said riders play an important role in supporting daily services.
According to him, the programme also aimed to promote values of sharing and caring during Ramadan.
He said the initiative reflects the spirit of togetherness associated with the holy month.
Abd. Rahim said the bubur lambuk was prepared using a special recipe created by chefs from Pulse Catering Services.
He said the dish combines traditional spices.
According to him, the bubur lambuk is highly anticipated each year.
He said five large pots were prepared to ensure sufficient supply.
The preparation involved two chefs and more than 50 staff members.
The programme is seen as part of efforts to strengthen community ties.
It also reflects unity and shared values.
Bubur lambuk distribution remains a key Ramadan tradition in Malaysia.
