Arclin Expands Global Footprint with Completion of WVCO Acquisition

ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA — Global materials science company Arclin has officially completed its acquisition of The Willamette Valley Company (WVCO), strengthening its position as a leading provider of advanced industrial materials and solutions.

The strategic move significantly enhances Arclin’s research, development and manufacturing capabilities across multiple sectors, including wood products, concrete repair, railway systems, transportation infrastructure and consumer applications.

Arclin Chief Executive Officer Bradley Bolduc said the integration marks an important milestone for the company’s long-term growth strategy.

“WVCO brings strong technical expertise, a customer-focused culture and a proven track record in quality. Combining our strengths allows us to deliver more comprehensive and innovative solutions,” he said.

As part of the transaction, Arclin adds eight manufacturing and research facilities, along with approximately 540 skilled employees, to its expanding global network.

Company president Mark Glaspey highlighted the merger’s role in accelerating technological advancement.

“This partnership positions us to develop next-generation materials that are more durable, energy-efficient and environmentally responsible. It significantly enhances our competitive advantage,” he said.

WVCO President and CEO John Murray described the acquisition as a major opportunity for future expansion.

“Becoming part of Arclin enables us to leverage global resources, scale our innovation efforts and strengthen our value proposition to customers,” he said.

According to Arclin, the integration process will be implemented in phases to ensure business continuity, supply chain stability and uninterrupted customer service.

Industry analysts view the acquisition as part of Arclin’s broader strategy to capitalise on rising global demand for sustainable, high-performance materials and advanced industrial technologies.

The move is also expected to strengthen Arclin’s presence in North America, Europe and Asia, while enhancing its ability to compete in increasingly technology-driven markets.
