LINE-X Expands Presence Across North America As Vehicle Upfitting Demand Surges
CHARLOTTE — LINE-X is ramping up its expansion efforts throughout 2026 with plans to establish more than a dozen new locations across North America amid rising demand for vehicle customisation and fleet upfitting services.
The company, known for its protective coatings and aftermarket automotive solutions, said the aggressive expansion strategy reflects continued growth in both consumer and commercial sectors.
LINE-X began the year by opening new outlets in South Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Roanoke, Virginia; and Eastern Panhandle, West Virginia during the first quarter, laying the groundwork for a broader rollout throughout the year.
According to company president Matt Labuda, the latest development pipeline demonstrates strong market confidence in the brand’s service model and long-term business potential.
“We are continuing to expand into markets where demand for premium upfitting solutions remains strong while supporting entrepreneurs looking to establish scalable automotive service businesses,” he said.
Expansion Strategy Targets Growing Markets
LINE-X’s planned growth for 2026 stretches across major regions including the Midwest, Northeast, Southern United States and Canada.
Among the locations scheduled for second-quarter openings are Suffolk County, Virginia; La Porte, Texas; and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Additional sites expected to launch in the third quarter include Hamilton County, Ohio; Bastrop, Texas; North Indianapolis, Indiana; Morgantown, West Virginia; southeast Kansas City, Missouri; and Rochester, New York.
The company’s fourth-quarter pipeline includes Oneida and Fairport in New York, Burlington in Ontario, Morristown in New Jersey, Apex in North Carolina, Washington County in Pennsylvania and Union County in North Carolina.
LINE-X said these markets were selected based on strong population growth, expanding contractor and fleet industries as well as rising consumer interest in truck modifications and vehicle enhancement services.
Growing Demand For Customisation And Fleet Services
The company noted that both private vehicle owners and businesses are increasingly investing in customised vehicle solutions, strengthening demand for aftermarket products and commercial fleet upgrades.
LINE-X franchisees currently provide a wide range of services including spray-on bedliners, protective coatings, fleet branding solutions and specialised vehicle modifications.
The company also reported rising interest from prospective franchise operators attracted by the automotive aftermarket sector’s recurring demand and multiple revenue opportunities.
Support System Strengthens Franchise Growth
Beyond opening new branches, LINE-X said it continues to prioritise operational support for franchisees through training programmes, marketing assistance and long-term business development resources.
Labuda said the company’s strategy focuses on building a reliable network of operators capable of delivering consistent service quality across every market.
With numerous new openings planned throughout 2026, LINE-X is expected to further solidify its role within the North American vehicle customisation and automotive aftermarket industry.
