ETCO Expands Generator Component Portfolio With New Wire Terminal Product Line

BRADENTON, Florida — ETCO Incorporated has unveiled a new series of wire terminal products developed for standby and portable generator manufacturers, aiming to improve purchasing efficiency and production operations for OEM customers.

The company said the latest terminal solutions are manufactured entirely in the United States and are packaged under a single SKU system to simplify procurement and inspection management.

Focused on Generator Industry Requirements

ETCO explained that the newly introduced products are specifically tailored for manufacturers involved in standby power systems and portable generator production.

The terminal range is available in both loose and strip forms, allowing easier integration into automated assembly and wire-processing systems commonly used in industrial manufacturing facilities.

According to the company, the products are designed to improve operational efficiency while maintaining strong electrical connection reliability.

Includes Multiple Industrial Terminal Types

The product portfolio features a broad selection of electrical connection components required in generator systems.

Among the items included are lead-free battery terminals, ignition and spark plug terminals with reinforced retention clips, insulated electrical terminals, locking ring terminals with serrated grip designs and several cord-related connection components.

ETCO stated that offering the products under one SKU can help OEMs reduce administrative complexity during ordering and inspection procedures.

F-Crimp Design Improves Connection Stability

The terminal products incorporate ETCO’s F-Crimp technology, which is designed to provide tighter and more durable wire connections.

The company said the crimping design enables higher-speed automated wire processing while minimising material fractures and improving wire shaping accuracy.

Additionally, the system helps create a clearer bellmouth profile, contributing to improved long-term electrical performance and durability.

Products Meet Key Industry Standards

ETCO confirmed that the terminal products comply with various internationally recognised manufacturing and quality standards, including ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 specifications.

The products are also compliant with RoHS environmental requirements, supporting safer and more sustainable industrial manufacturing practices.

Custom Solutions Available for OEM Clients

Apart from standard products, ETCO said it also provides custom-engineered terminal solutions tailored to specific customer applications and technical demands.

The company noted that pricing depends on terminal specifications and purchase volume.

ETCO added that the expanded product lineup reflects growing demand within the generator and backup power sectors for dependable, high-performance electrical connection systems.
