Zayn Rayyan’s family home is once again in the spotlight

PETALING JAYA: Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin’s family residence at Apartment Idaman, Damansara Damai, is once again in the spotlight after about six months since the autistic child was found dead in December last year.

It follows that the police reportedly brought Zayn Rayyan’s mother to re-enact the situation of the incident when Zayn Rayyan disappeared until the discovery of his body.

A Bernama survey found that a van is believed to have taken the victim’s mother to her residence in Blok R at 10.15 this morning and left at about 12.20 in the afternoon.

It is understood that the woman involved was taken back to the residence, and the location of the child was found, which is a river drainage located approximately 200 meters from the residential block where the family lives.

Police officers were also seen carrying a statue of a child, but the use of the statue has yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, as early as 10 am, a police team made two roadblocks leading to the Blok R apartment in question, and the media were instructed to stay in a hut while the movement of each resident was accompanied by police officers.

A vehicle carrying Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department Director Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain was also seen entering the residential area with an investigation team consisting of the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (JSJ) and the Selangor Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK), as well as investigative officers from the District Police Headquarters. (IPD) Petaling Jaya.

Around 2.30 , several police and forensic vehicles were seen leaving the residential area, and yellow tape was placed at the entrance to the scene.

Last Friday, Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan was reported to have said that the remand period for Zayn Rayyan’s parents has been extended until June 13 to allow further investigations to continue against them both.

Hussein is reported to have said that the inconsistent evidence between the factors of the remand period of the autistic child’s parents was continued.

On Dec 6, last year, the body of Zayn Rayyan, 6, was found lying in a stream near his home in Apartment Idaman after being reported missing the day before.

The child is believed to have been killed when the autopsy found injuries to his neck and body as a result of self-defense.
