Yemen’s Houthi Targets Three Ships in Red Sea, Arabian Sea
DUBAI: Yemen’s Houthi rebel forces have carried out military operations targeting three ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
This was confirmed by the military spokesperson of the group, Yahya Sarea, on Wednesday.
The Houthi, supported by Iran and controlling parts of the Red Sea, have been attacking ships along their coast for several months in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza.
In the latest incident, the Houthi targeted two ships in the Red Sea, namely the Roza and Vantage Dream, with several guided missiles and drones.
The third ship, the American vessel Maersk Seletar, was targeted in the Arabian Sea using multiple drones.
