The success of Sabah’s development is a yardstick in the PRN, GE16 – Rafizi

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s development efforts carried out between the state and federal governments will be an important yardstick to be evaluated in the upcoming State and General Elections, said Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Deputy President Rafizi Ramli.

“This matter, God willing, will be able to give voters a good choice in the next state election,” he told reporters after inaugurating the Sabah PKR State Leadership Council (MPN) Office here on Saturday.

Rafizi, who is also the Minister of Economy, said cooperation between parties is a matter that continues to be discussed within the spirit of the Unity Government.

“The only thing we want to emphasize is service to the people. While we seek and manage political partnerships, the more important thing is that PKR as a party must be at the forefront in defending and serving the people,” he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the visit to Sabah today, it is to attend the 25 Year Party Organization Empowerment Convention (POP25) as well as Keadilan Menang PRU16 Series (KEMAS16) at the state level today.

He said this convention aims to reorganize the campaign procedures and movements of PKR branches throughout the country so that they can be carried out more effectively, especially in reaching out to the people.

“In the context of Sabah, it is also quite appropriate because we believe that Sabah will hold PRN faster than other states,” he said.
