The North Face To Close All Outlets In Malaysia; Now Offering Clearance Sale

Kuala Lumpur: The North Face, a brand beloved by outdoor enthusiasts, has announced the closure of all its Malaysian outlets via Instagram. Along with the closure, the brand is offering a storewide 60% discount at all its outlets from July 10th–15th, 2024, before permanently shutting down operations.

The North Face announced in a post, “This is your last chance to drop by our stores for our final round of sales before we say goodbye. As a parting gift, enjoy 60% off EVERYTHING in-stores now. Stock up while you can and plan ahead for those winter year-end trips!”. The sale includes a wide array of essential outdoor products, such as camping gear, outdoor jackets for various climates, durable hiking shoes, and many other necessary items for outdoor activities.

The North Face noted that the outlets, located in popular Malaysian shopping malls, will remain open for the next five days before closing. The outlets slated for closure include The Exchange TRX, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion Damansara Heights, The Gardens Mall, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, LaLaport BBCC, and Johor Premium Outlets.

While The North Face has not disclosed the reasons for its closure, it’s important to mention that the brand had been implementing clearance sales since February 2024. Its most recent clearance sale at 70% off prior to the announcement could have been a hint towards the brands end. Following the announcement, netizens share their confusion and disappointment for the brands departure, as the brand has been a staple for decades.

The North Face has undeniably been a trusted companion for sourcing all our outdoor essentials over the years. As we bid farewell to this reliable brand, we remain hopeful for bigger and better things in the future. We await further updates regarding the brand’s closure, holding onto the memories and quality experiences The North Face has provided.
